For a friend.

I was in the embroidery mode and so as a surprise to my good friend, Erin, I embroidered her logo for her, from her amazing business, PlumPearApple Designs. It was so much fun to do.

Embroidery is easy, if you are thinking of doing it, do it. You will be surprised at how easy it is to do. My favorite thing to do is to watch a movie at night with my husband and embroider.

I can't wait to see what she does with it.

The fruit is my favorite, they look so great together.

looks cute! do you embroider much? if not, i'd encourage you to take a class; you will learn many versatile (wonderful!) stitches.

I do love it! I had to hang it up right away - even before I have decided if I am going to frame it or stretch it on a canvas frame. It's SO perfect!!

This looks so darling hanging in Erin's sewing room ... and it's not even finished yet! I can't wait to see what she does with it- either stretching or framing will be just right.

PS. She did a similar one for me for my birthday. She traced Mason's hands, and wrote "Mason (heart's) meemaw" and stitched around all of them. I'm thinking of using it as a pillow cover (to match the quilt Erin made me for Christmas). What do you think?

I think a pillow would be the perfect thing for it!
