The top is done!

I can't believe that I got the whole top done today. I am obsessive what can I say. When I have something in my head I have to get it done otherwise I can't sleep and it is all that I think about. I can thank my Dad for that, he has an obsessive personality, therefor I do.

Here it is and I am trying to think if I want to trim some of the border off. What do you think?

Helen quilt top

It measures 60 x 80 and I didn't want it that big, but.......

I have to think of a good name for this one, I might have one.

Reminds me of hopscotch...

I would trim it to about half that size, but that's just me. It's looking great.

So cute, it'd make a great gender neutral baby quilt. I also vote for a smaller border.

It looks really good. I'm amazed at how quickly you make your quilts, I wish I was able to work that fast! I like the big border, but it will look good if you trim it too, and that will give you some pieces for the back :)

I love big borders, so I like it as is. However I agree that if you want it smaller it will still look good trimmed.

It's a beautiful quilt, Darci. However, I think a smaller border would accentuate the squares more. Either way, it's a beauty.

I love these fabrics! Especially the measuring tape. American Jane? It is so cheerie!

Yes this whole quilt is out of Sandy Klopp Recess for American Jane, the measuring tapes are the best!
