Yes, I lied.

I told you all that I would not buy any more fabric for a long time, remember? Well, then my quilt shop down the street decided to throw a HUGE super bowl sale, Saturday & Sunday only. I knew they had Amy Butler fabrics and I have been wanting some (hers are always the most expensive fabrics) so I went. This is what I came home with.

Super Bowl sale, I couldn't resist.

I am terrible, I know. My fabric storage next to my bed is getting to be taller than my bed! I need to take a picture for you guys sometime soon, it is hilarious. Mainly because I live in a small place and I have no where to keep my fabric. I dream of getting a sewing room. If I am anything like my Mom, it will take until I retire to get a sewing room. I feel for you Mom, I really do. I don't know how you did it all of those years out of your bedroom.

Then as I was getting my fabrics cut, I saw a bin full of these glorious Japanese prints. I have never seen them anywhere, so of course I had to get these too! They were somewhat expensive since they are linen/canvas material, but I was on a roll.

Gorgeous Boy prints

So I am sorry that I lied and said that I would not buy anymore. I have learned from my mistakes and I will not say that ever again! Because lets face it, do any of us have any control when it comes to fabrics???

I didn't think so.

Those wee robots are the cutest. I made a bag with mine.

Also, would have gone for that vivid/wild flower print in the first photo at the bottom...Kaufman???

I know, I feel for you. I don't even get out of my pjs to buy fabric.

My hubby says I could have worst addictions.

I love those little boy prints. I was a bit naughty too last night on the net and shopped at Wish upon a quilt. Bad, bad, good!!

You know what's wrong with us quilters? We are weak weak weak willed when it comes to fabric!
It's an addiction. And there is no rehab program at Betty Ford for it!

I love those boy prints! I can neve pass up a sale either. It makes the price for designer fabric so much more justifiable!

love the boy prints, they look like Kokka prints from Japan, just adore them, that is why they are more also. I found a great store on Etsy that is reasonable priced for those though. It's called Matatabi
