I made a 45 x 45 inch flannel blanket with silky binding today for ME! Well for the girl that I am having.

I bought more of the dot fabric to make a crib sheet out of to, they are so easy to make. I just need to find one more flannel to make a crib sheet since I did not find the perfect one today. I think I will go and see what JoAnn's has (along with my 60% off coupon) maybe they will have the right color.

The rest of the week I am going to try to make more blankets with silky bindings and some receiving blankets for my friends babies. I think I have enough flannel, hehe.
I also worked on some Quilting Bee blocks yesterday. For Sew Connected 3, John sent Good Folks fabric by Anna Maria Horner & asked us to make a quarter log cabin blocks.

Then I made a wonky version since these are my favorites and John asked for both and he ALWAYS makes me 2 blocks so I thought it was time I made him 2.

Kathy for Pieced Together Quilting Bee sent along all Amy Butler fabric and wanted log cabins.

So there you go that is what I have been up to lately. What about you? Sewed anything fun this summer?

The flannel is cute, especially the spots, and your blanket is gorgeous! The blocks are super cool as well. Haven't you been a busy crafter!? :)
