It definelty has been an adjustment for me, especially getting sewing done. I did finish my pillow for the Pillow Talk Swap before I went into labor.

I used linen since my partner, Kristen aka Three Dancing Magpies, loved linen and I appliqued the circles on then free motion quilted in the circles on each one.

Here is the back.

Since then I have sewed some quilting bee blocks. This mermaid block is for Sara for Sew Connected 3, November block.

Tacha wanted log cabins with lots of little pieces so I tried to do as many as I could. This is for Cottage Quilting Bee for November.

I also have been sewing some Christmas presents. Here is a pillow that I made for my sister (she doesn't read my blog so I am safe). It is 14"x 14" and I appliqued the tree on then quilted the pillow. I hope she likes it.

Other gifts that I am making will have to wait until they arrive to their recipients before I post about them.

I am in awe that you have even managed to find time to finish ANYTHING, being a mother of a 7 weeks old baby boy :) I am SO running behind in the bees I participate in...
