I am back.

So it has been alittle over a month since this girl joined our family....

thinking

It definelty has been an adjustment for me, especially getting sewing done. I did finish my pillow for the Pillow Talk Swap before I went into labor.

going to.......

I used linen since my partner, Kristen aka Three Dancing Magpies, loved linen and I appliqued the circles on then free motion quilted in the circles on each one.

Here is the back.

Since then I have sewed some quilting bee blocks. This mermaid block is for Sara for Sew Connected 3, November block.

Tacha wanted log cabins with lots of little pieces so I tried to do as many as I could. This is for Cottage Quilting Bee for November.

I also have been sewing some Christmas presents. Here is a pillow that I made for my sister (she doesn't read my blog so I am safe). It is 14"x 14" and I appliqued the tree on then quilted the pillow. I hope she likes it.

Other gifts that I am making will have to wait until they arrive to their recipients before I post about them.

Congratulations! She is just so beautiful. And I can see her lying on her quilt. Hairband matches it so perfectly too.

Congratulations! I'm impressed that you've gotten the blocks done. I haven't been able to even read my blogs since my little one was born. Cute baby, cute pillow too!

Congratulations on your sweet little girl!

I am in awe that you have even managed to find time to finish ANYTHING, being a mother of a 7 weeks old baby boy :) I am SO running behind in the bees I participate in...

Congratulations on your new little girl. We understand you don't have so much time for sewing. You will again, just enjoy this beautiful baby for now!
You blocks are great though! Love the one with many little bits best!

A big welcome to your lovely little lady! Gorgeous bow. I don't have a new baby and I'm getting nothing done. Hmmmm, maybe I need a baby? Love the Christmas tree cushion for your sister. She's a lucky girl. Merry Christmas!
