So sorry that I have not been posting or sewing. This last month has been a little crazy. I have been in the Dr. office multiple times a week with my girls. Turns out that my 6 month old has terrible food allergies and now I carry an EpiPen. We had to change our way of living and eating so that has been a process. My 3 year old daughter has terrible allergies and we found out that she needed her Tonsils & Adenoids removed and her ears drained so we had that surgery the other day. We are home and recuperating.

Much needed play time

On another note my bff Erin sent me this book

Pride & Prejudice

It is my favorite book of all time and she knows that. But now she has me addicted to these books and I want tons of them. Have you seen them? They are designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith for Penguin Books. They are gorgeous and I am a book addict almost as much as I am a fabric addict.

This one of Little Women is to die for and just might be the one I want next.

Seriously Erin I could have done without knowing about these. hehe.

Hi Darci~
I so totally feel your allergy issues. I recently had the same issue with my 2 yo son. The first doctor I went too did nothing!! After a week of severe reactions, I went for a second opinion. I got an EpiPen Jr. for him, and need to carry it with me everywhere. And I have a couple more weeks to wait till I see the allergy specialist. I have an idea, I am thinking it is Strawberries, but am not sure, and I am not sure if there are other allergies. Hope things get better for you soon!!

Hee hee I knew that you would love the books. The P&P cover is not my favorite but I knew that you'd want that book first. ;)

Now why'd you tell me about those??? I do NOT need another addiction, fabric is enough. Lol.

I can see why you were not quilting or blogging. Those things with allergies have consumed your time and your mind, no doubt. Hope you have it on the go now!

Those very beautiful books are available at Amazon at about 30 percent off the list price. Thank you for bringing them to my attention. I see them as excellent gifts for my grandchildren.
Best wishes to you and your children in surviving the allergy wars.

What a fun blog! Good for you taking time out for yourself to sew, even though your hands are full raising little ones!
