My Week Decorating

I have been on a roll with painting and getting some decorating done. I painted Penelope's room grey. Ralph Lauren Forde Abbey. It is my new favorite color it is just fabulous. I just was not liking the green that I had painted it a month ago. I also bought my first bolt of fabric to make curtains for her room. The fabric is from that new DS Quilt Collection at JoAnn's that I was telling you all about last time.



Then I made a pillow to go in the room with the same fabrics along with others to mix it up. Log Cabin's are truly my favorite!



With the help of Erin I quilted this in random lines and squares that all connect. It was very hard to get a picture of the quilting but it is really different and fun. I might try to get another one since I have washed the pillow.



When I was at JoAnn's getting that bolt of fabric I came across this pincushion made out of Sandi Henderson's Meadowsweet fabric. I just had to buy it. I love it! The seat comes up and lets you store pins. How cute is that?



I am getting really excited since my Mom is coming this weekend (along with my Dad) and staying with us for a MONTH! She is going to help me make curtains and just have lots of fun with the girls. I can't wait to have my parents here.
